Urban Review’s First Podcast
I jumped on the blog bandwagon a bit late (November 2004) so I didn’t want to miss the podcasting boat. Below is a link to short little segment (just over 3 minutes) where I talk about the school board election and current reading material.
I wanna listen! (MP3 audio)
We will see how this goes and maybe I’ll do a weekly podcast. So, check it out and let me know what you think of the idea of audio podcasting.

I was hoping someone I knew would do this! Podcasting is going to be huge. I’ll add you to the list that I already listen to which is Adam Curry’s “Daily Source Code” http://www.dailysourcecode.com/ , The MacCast http://www.maccast.com/ , Coverville http://www.coverville.com/ , Vinyl Podcast http://vinylpodcast.com/index.php
I enjoyed it. I could listen and work at the same time, which was a nice change of pace. Having both like you suggested (weekly podcast with the blog) would be nice. I still enjoy reading the blog and the pictures are irreplaceable, but utilizing both would be a great thing!
Hi Steve,
Ain’t technology wonderful? Glad you identified the background noise, I ws attributing it to poor sound quality on this end. Anyway, I think the potential is powerful but so is the likelhood of people just running off at the mouth through another medium..
I really enjoy the SmartCity Radio http://www.smartcityradio.com/ show which is also now podcasted so you can listen when you want. I like podcasting and would enjoy hearing about St Louis. I am from Sarasota and have recently started a blog http://www.moraca.org on urban issues in my home town.
