Selling Shirts to Pay Legal Fund?
Ideas are pouring in to Urban Review from citizens upset about Ald. Florida’s tactics to please her campaign contributors over the wishes of constituents. If only I was talented in Illustrator & Photoshop.
This one came in tonight in response to my last post on McDonald’s.
I was thinking we get these printed up and sell them to raise money to pay an attorney to challenge the city’s drive-thru variance and spot zoning attempt.

Truely tasteless. I’ll take a gross. Do you take Paypal?
Certainly there has to be a lawyer that can do this pro bono. Then again, most that are familiar with land use law would completely alienate their developer clients by doing so. i would if I knew anything about land use law or administrative law.
[REPLY – This type of thing is hard to find pro bono so we are raising money to pay someone. These things take time and money. – SLP]
Why don’t you set up a CafePress store to sell them? Less initial costs, only print what you need, online store interface already taken care of.

Cafe press is a great idea, then you could do bumper stickers too.
A little over the top, don’t you think? For goodness sakes, it’s just a drive-thru. I think you should think twice before proceeding on this one. People may think you’re not a rational and mature person.
[REPLY – Uh, it was meant more as a joke. Most people got the humor — you know — the whole over the top part. Any shirt or bumper sticker will have a great slogan and no blood. – SLP]
