I am pleased to announce the availability of the free Urban Review STL app for Android app. This new app joins the iPhone app made available in January 2010 (post). An App for BlackBerry will be available, although the schedule is determined by MotherApp. Sorry, they do not indicate support for Windows Mobile, WebOS, or other platforms.
There now is a website to completely generate an iphone app online. http://appmakr.com/ So far, it only works if you already have an rss feed and you want to make that feed available on the iphone. I have not tried this, but sounds handy.
I see a working urban garden/interactive green house along with amenitities geared toward public crowds – pay toilets etc – next to City Garden as a win win situation. I see the Twain sclupture completely out of place and better suited some where else along the mall. Maybe part of a rebuilt Kiener plaza with the sculpture on a paved/bricked courtyard. Like you noted Steve, the sculpture was to let you interact with the urban environment. Having it on grass and trying to plant trees around it seems like a bad thought that got reinforced by having City Garden next to it.
