I looked up the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Act of 1996 (Wikipedia, full text). This law was passed specifically to indemnify those who would donate — except if willfully negligent. So Little Caesars could donate the pizzas that have been held in their warming oven for more than 30 minutes.
Operation Food Search can distribute prepared food:
“Restaurants, Caterers, and Mass-Feeders: Overproduced product, cancelled events, minor production imperfections.”
Other organizations, such as Food Outreach, seek frozen or canned goods for their pantry.

Hey steve thats a great idea except the government says it cant happen because of health issues but we all know why it really is it's because if you keep people down you can control them eaiser.It's all falling in line with their new world order that so many think is a delusional story told by weirdos.well it is true if you feed the hungry they will gain strength.this government is setting everything up for them salfs if they cant profit from it it cant happen.and alder persons are the most useless people in the city.why would you want to donate food when you can throw it away.It's the british rule syndrome all over again keep them weak and you can control them.the brits were sent packing for trying to run things that way here and now our own government is doing the exact same thing.as long as the politicians have what they want they dont care about anyone else.this includes all government.city,state,and federal.the rich are the powerful because they can buy who they need to stay that way.and this is all because the people are afraid to stand up and say no it's not going to be that way this is OUR country not just YOURS.
